What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

No. Nothing special, just come as you are. There will be kilts, baguettes and bérets. Maybe even Lederhosen, Mephisto and fleece. Take your time, hurry up, the choice is yours – come doused in mud.

Anything planned for the younger generations?

Mr Poppins will keep the children entertained. We haven't got much detail yet, but we imagine it will include games and childcare. Please let us know if you are bringing your kids and we will pass this on to Mr Poppins who will give us some inspiration on how to capture their attention.

Presents and sacrifices?

Everyone loves presents and sometimes sacrifices, but making your way to Austria to join us for our special day is present enough. This applies to those living in Austria too.

We do however want to make our guest book to be a cookbook. Share your favorite recipes with us digitally or on paper – on the day or earlier – and we will collate them on a website or given some time maybe get them printed.

Can you get married at the Eagle's Nest with 2 tonnes of champagne and dwarfs feeding us grapes?

How to get from Vienna / Bratislava airport to Vienna?

From Vienna airport there are a few options:

• S-Bahn (train) which runs every 30 minutes (18 and 48 past the hour) and takes 30 minutes to town. Stops are Praterstern and Wien Mitte / Landstraße. Price: 4.10 EUR
• CAT (City Airport Train) runs every 30 minutes and takes 16 minutes to arrive at Wien Mitte / Landstraße. Price: 11 EUR
• Bus, Vienna Airport lines runs every 30 minutes and takes about 30 depending on which line you take as they have 10 stops throughout town. Price: 8 single and 11 return.
• Taxi and Uber are available too

From Bratislava airport take the Bus to Vienna:

• Bus runs every 30 minutes and takes about 90 minutes. Stops at main railway station (Süd Tiroler Platz) and main bus station (Erdberg). Price between 5 and 9 EUR.
• Taxi is possible too but expensive

All can be booked in advance online apart from the S-Bahn where you can pay at a machine before going on the platform.
